Decent frames, long shipping

I got some petite fit frames with blue light blocking lenses. The frames are pretty good quality for the price, feel sturdy enough. The blue light blocking works as expected, less eye strain. Shipping took a bit longer than I expected, about 12 days to reach my address in Florida. Not a huge issue, but something to note if you're in a hurry. Overall, I'm satisfied with the glasses, just wished they arrived a bit quicker.

Love my new shades!

Got a pair of polarized sunglasses with mirrored lenses and I just love them! The tint is perfect and they look so stylish. I was a bit nervous ordering online for my first time, but the fit was great. These are my new favorites for driving and just being outside. I'm telling all my friends about this site!

Great value on new frames

This was my first time ordering from Eyeglasses.com. I was really looking for the best deal and found a good discount on a pair of full rim glasses during their seasonal clearance. The price was significantly better than my local optician, even with shipping. Felt like I got a solid product for what I paid. Definitely worth it if you're on a budget.

Smooth order for progressives

I ordered new progressive lenses and an anti-reflective coating for a pair of vintage frames I already owned. The ordering process online was straightforward, and they provided clear instructions on how to send in my frames. Shipping took about two weeks from when I mailed them out until I received them back. The quality of the lenses seems very good, and my prescription was accurate. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about tracking. The only slight snag was the return packaging was a bit minimal, but the glasses arrived safely.

Always reliable for lenses

I've used Eyeglasses.com several times now, mostly for replacement lenses in my existing frames. They're consistently good. This last order for my progressive lenses was just as smooth as the others. Quality is always there, and they got them back to me in about 10 days which is typical. That reliability is why I keep coming back.

What's their return policy like if I get prescription lenses and they're just not right? Is it a hassle?

A Abigail Scott 1 week ago
Returns for prescription lenses are usually trickier everywhere. They have a policy, but it's not a full refund if you just don't like them, unless there's a defect. You should check the exact terms on their site, it's pretty clear.

Yeah, if the prescription is wrong because of their error, they'll fix it. But if you just change your mind or your doctor gave you a slightly off script, it's usually not a free return for prescription lenses. Frames are easier to return, though.

What's the deal with shipping times? I live in Seattle and need new specs kinda fast. How long does it usually take to get prescription lenses?

M Matt B. 1 month ago
It can vary a bit with prescription stuff. My last order took about a week and a half from when I placed it to when it showed up in California. They have to make the lenses, after all.

I'd say usually 1-2 weeks for prescription. If you're in a hurry, might want to check if they have any expedited options, but the standard free shipping takes a minute.

I'm a teacher, do they have any special discounts for educators? Or like, a first responder discount I could maybe use?

B Betty Jones 1 month ago
Yep, they have a teacher discount! And for first responders too, I think. You usually have to verify your status though.

They definitely offer discounts for teachers and healthcare workers. I remember seeing a banner for it around December. Just search their site for the details on how to apply for it.

Does Eyeglasses.com do virtual try-ons? I like to see how frames look on my face before committing.

H Hannah P. 2 days ago
I'm pretty sure they do. I remember seeing something about a virtual try-on tool on their site when I was browsing frames last month.

Yeah, they have a feature for that. It uses your webcam. It's not perfect like trying them on in person, but it gives you a good idea.

How does Eyeglasses.com compare to Warby Parker? Is the quality similar for prescription lenses?

Z Zach R. 2 weeks ago
I've bought from both. Eyeglasses.com has a way bigger selection of brands, and their lens quality felt a bit better to me, especially for progressive lenses. Warby Parker is good for basic, stylish frames though.

S Steven K. 1 week ago
Eyeglasses.com is more like a traditional optical shop online, with lots of designer frames and different lens options. Warby Parker is more about their own house brands and a simpler pricing model. Quality wise, for lenses, Eyeglasses.com often has more premium options.
